Thanx so much for letting me know that the link wasn't working correctly. I just went in and fixed it.

I have completed row 11 but am totally stumped by the remaining instructions (new crocheter). Rows 12, 13 and 14 repeat sequence rows 2, 3 and 4 ??????? Help please.

You can't repeat Rows 2-4 - there's just not enough stitches.

The pattern increases on each end with the beginning and end of the row and on either side of the center shell.

I'll have to work up a swatch - it's been a while since I made one of these.

In the meantime, you may find it helpful to post any questions in the thread at crochetville. http://www.crochetville.com/community/topic/123650-rosereds-version-of-the-serafina-shawl-pattern/?hl=serafina

I have been trying to figure out how to get a shawl fall long, long, longer in the back for a long time now! I am struck with wonder at how beautiful the back of that shawl is! You do beautiful work! Thank you for sharing!
